If you want to grow a bigger, better, faster, and more profitable business or organization (firm/institution/company/church/non-profit etc.), then you need to have a very intentional and strategic plan and process for creating it. Successful companies don’t just happen. That said, the end result of a great strategic plan, isn’t the production of a plan on a piece of paper, it’s the results that plan delivers. Results like

  • Significant revenue and profit growth
  • Movement into new markets
  • The addition (or innovation) of new products and/or services
  • Novel ways to expand existing markets
  • Increased market share
  • Higher levels of achievement and execution
  • A business model change that can drive future growth
  • Increased clarity on what you do (and don’t do), etc.

In other words, a great strategic planning process should catapult you and your business (or organization) into a phenomenal future. It should force you and your team to think at a deeper and more strategic level. It should stimulate new ideas, while encouraging healthy debate and discussion. It should create greater sense of team unity and alignment. And it should allow you and your team to discover your own unique future (which may be radically different than your past).

    my company suddenly gets a lot of clients who specifically want us to help them develop strategic plans and marketing plans. We’re a young company and do not have that much expertise. I would appreciate all the help we can get and even if possible some sort of partnership where we will work together on most of our projects.
